Customer Reviews

For the price it's OK
It's a fairly nice looking watch, but!

As with most folks, I usually know what day it is and the "day" readout is much too large while the "date" is much too small. I can read the "day" from across the room and altho I'd prefer more often than not to know the date, I can't read the "date" without my glasses. In my opinion, that seems a very strange way to design a watch.

I found it a bit more difficult than I expected to adjust the band to fit my wrist. I'm not happy with the band, it has become unclasped twice and fallen off when I banged up against something. At one watch counter I was told an expansion band could not be fitted, but even tho I plan to do so, I've checked no further in to it.

Initial setup was fairly simple but for some reason I continue to inadvertently switch between standard and miltary time. Just weird, maybe just me!

When the battery poops out I'll prolly go shoppin again!

Good watch- bad watch band
Very nice watch for the price. The watch band was a piece of garbage. I spent an hour trying to get to work and then returned it.

Good value for money
This watch does exactly as promised. Nothing more nothing less.
Not exclisive and I suspect the case to be some kind of plastic not steel as stated.

Intermittently good
The good: keeps almost perfect time, is easy to see, and looks pretty good.

The bad: the watch has failed four times in the last two years (since I bought it). Twice, it spontaneously reset itself. Twice the screen went blank, but came back (with the data gone) after I opened the case, and jiggled the innerds (OK, not very scientific, but as far as I felt competent to go.) I liked the idea of a databank so that I could store limited static information "at my fingertips". However, I have not bothered to reload the data since I would probably have to do it all over again the next time it fails. Maybe I just got a lemon (with an intermittent battery connection).

My previous databank was very reliable and also kept perfect time, but eventually (after ~4 years) broke where the band pins enter the case.

Casio Men's Databank watch
The watch looks great, keeps decent time, and has lots of features. I especially like and use the five alarms.
