MADE Products CA-1133-BLK Camera Armor for the Canon XT Digital SLR (Black)

Manufacturer: Made Products
Custom engineered for the Canon Rebel XT digital camera, the Camera Armor system is an always-on casing that consists of four parts: an elastomeric silicone body armor case, a lens armor, a lens cap lanyard, and a polycarbonate LCD shield. Put it all together and you have a terrific way to protect your camera while hiking, attending sporting events, hunting, birding, or shooting in inclement weather. The Camera Armor boasts a precise fit that covers up all the important parts of your digital SLR camera, shielding it from impacts, abrasion, dust, and fingerprints without sacrificing any necessary camera functions or adding additional weight. In fact, the Camera Armor is designed to make all the camera controls and ports completely functional and accessible without requiring you to take the camera out of the jacket. And thanks to the proprietary silicone blend--which is UV stable--the Camera Armor won't fade, deform, or deteriorate over the lifetime of your camera.

Cannon xt Armor
Very hard to find for XTI camera, out of production. It does not fit as well as I would like and the black seems to look like it is always covered with lint but it does the job of protecting the camera. I would prefer a leather one but they are not easy to find and very expensive

Camera armor
This is the wrong armor for the camera I purchased.
Seems as if your order desk should have picked up on and alerted me to this discrepancy so that I might have corrected it in my order.

Fits like a glove
I purchased this as an overall protector for my DSLR. It has been on my camera now for nearly a year. It fits snug, and I have had no real problem. My only draw back is that it does attract a lot of dust and dirt. The lens protector is pretty much garbage, as it is big and bulky, and attracts a ton of dirt and dust (something you don't want near your lenses), so I threw it out almost as soon as I got it. Other than that, it is great. This cover provides that little extra protection for the "just in case."

Armor for Canon Rebel XT
The armor fits nicely over the body of the camera. The rubber is soft and feels durable It leaves most everything you need to access uncovered, such as the battery door and CF port. The clear plastic piece that covers the view finder didn't fit as snug as I had hoped, but still pretty good. The rubber is embossed with all the needed function buttons such menu, drive modes, and ISO. They are quite difficult to see, but if you know your camers well enough, it really won't matter. They line up perfectly with the buttons they protect. The only signifcant issue with the armor is the rubber protection piece that comes for the lens. Essentially, it is just a lens hood. The issue is that it doesn't seat well. Meaning, that is seems to move around if bumped or manipulated even slightly. It not a tight enough fit. If you already use a lens hood, you won't need it anyway.

Nice protection
I am finally satisfied that My Cannon Camera is protected without having to constantly put it into a bag when I am shooting in the house or outside. The cover over the rear screen is great and the lens protector is also well situated for the bumps and drops I seem to always have when using it.
