Customer Reviews

Does what it says, with limitations.
Yes I know this is a CHEAP watch. But all I wanted was the basic Countdown Timer Function. Yes this does have a Countdown Timer. The problem however is that once you start your count down, you can not quickly get back to orignal start time if there is a false start. For example, lets day you need to restart it (like restarting the stopwatch / chronograph function) I expected just to "RESTART" to the pre-set Count Down time I programmed before the race. HOWEVER, with this watch, you can not 'reset to zero like the chronograph. Once the Countdown Begins, you need to finish this, OR go back to set-up mode to actually Re-Program a new Count down start time by re-configuring a NEW START TIME. So using this as a count down for example a sailing / windsurf RACE START, and if there is a false start and you need to re-start to another 5 min 00 sec start time, you CANT just hit RESTART. Since the time now reads 4 Min 53 Sec, you cant press 1 or 2 or 3 buttons to reset to 5 min 00 sec. You actually need to RE-PROGRAM using the Mode/SET/Save command. Truly disappointing.

Working great!
I've bought this watch for a month, and it's working great.
I have no complain.

OK
Had the watch for about a month now and it works fine. Has a comfortable band. I use this watch for work so its subject to water, mud, dust, and snow,if its still around by winter time.

Expectations fulfilled
It's not hard to find a better watch, with fancy funtions, and a shiny design. But that comes with a bigger price tag.
I've used this watch for about 3 months now, and it has done everything I needed in a watch.
It's light, simple, and cheap. Obviously would not wear this to a fancy party, but this thing handles continued use in saltwater (aquarium related caretaking)and daily tasks like going to class.

The only setback is not being able to turn off the beep every time a button is pressed (apart from the light button). Fortunately, the hourly chime can be turned off. The strap is good material that won't stink of decaying human cells unable to be washed off after continuous wear.

I recommend this to those looking for a basic watch for daily activities.

I wouldn't recommend it.
First the good: It's cheap, it tells time, it has a stopwatch, and I received it within 2 days.

Beyond that, it's pretty mediocre.
* The watch is bigger and heavier than I had expected, given that it's described as a sports watch.
* The controls are not as intuitive as I would like, though they'll do. Unlike many sports watches, the start/stop button for the stopwatch is not located on the front of the watch.
* The biggest drawback is the display. For so large a watch, it's surprisingly hard to read at a glance. The display is awfully cluttered. A lot of it is wasted on a terribly designed day/date display, which is almost unreadable.

Given the low price, it's not really worth returning. However, I'll spend a bit more, next time.
